This very hardy birch is the most permanent and desirable of all the white-barked birches. Its stems start as a beautiful red-brown when immature and transition to a perfect chalk-white as they age. The fall color is an outstanding feature, making it a striking addition to any landscape. Clumps typically feature three or more stems.
